Since nobody has bothered to make a thread about this before (I think...) I guess it's time for me to make one.

I want you, the community, to help come up with a bunch of ideas to try and help fix our mostly ruined economy. Post your ideas on what kind of Zeny sink you'd think people would spend Zeny on, something used everyday, or every other day. I'll be taking note of all your ideas, and make a list here on this thread. Also...please don't post anything like..."Spend 5k Zeny, get random god piece" try to be serious.


Please do not post if you're either targeting/ flaming someone who has posted their idea(s). I'll update the list with ideas, ones that aren't game breaking of course.

#1 Sansui suggested "Special Hats" (1B/ 2B seems like too much... XD) Maybe some special quest hats w/ Enchants.

#2 Tigriss suggested trading in Zeny for special points to get small cash shop based items, like Giant Fly Wings.

Maybe sell safe to +7 certificates for a decent chunk of zeny.Was the first thing that came to mind dont flame me please =(

I don't get what you mean by that...Hopefully not turning KP into Zeny. But i'll just assume you're saying trade KP for Zeny with another person.

Zeny sinks are meant to get rid of Zeny as a whole. As of right now, we're dealing with some pretty messed up inflation, some could say it's "Chaos".

No I mean Put in an option in the kafra shop to pay soo much Zenny for one KP. So people can earn Kafra items with in game money. But it be like a promotional KP and can only be used for certain items and not for stuff like Monthly boxes or something.that you can get rares out of. Just Like WOE Supplies G-Wings Gym Passes ECT.

3. A buyable "VIP scroll" or something similar. Bought with KP (and traded to an npc to "use" it), it gives its user full VIP privileges for the duration listed on the scroll. This idea is based off the chronoscroll idea present in TERA.

If you double the supplys a single wps token can buy I garentee it will double the amount of zenny guilds sink into supplys, current wps is not suffecient for most guilds. It also cuts bots further out of the loop. Simple and easy to impliment. Wps is a 100% zenny sink, why not let us sink 2x the zenny into it if we want to.

how about removing certs completely. certs prevent equips from breaking. that way zeny rolls around less in the community.

breaking equipment makes the econ atleast more healthy.

could also just tell the gms to sell KVM badges for 1m/ea then >_> or rather sell the KVM weapons for rediculous high prices in some shop at the battlegrounds.

It doesn't matter whats sold. Players assume that Zeny is created by player to player transactions, while in reality it's created by player to NPC transactions. Since many players dont actually NPC loot as often as they did in in the early game, we have a large group of players who raise their prices to subsidies any or some losses via upgrades, WoE Items, ect.

So that leaves a huge portion of the zeny entering the market through normal transactions via Bots. Because they're the only ones who are generating the zeny that players then trade among them selves.

To solve this it will take players to have a better understanding of what causes inflation, what causes monetary inflation, what causes stagflation, what significance botting has over the market and game play.

Or just don't fix the problem, make like every 100m zeny exchangable at 2 side for maybe a pile of platinum with 0 weight which going to be the high zeny exchange thing. So trade more easy and the zeny still have a value even if its crazy high.
