so im wondering, can gank actually get real items? or just lame monster junk drops? like, is it possible to get cards and items with this spell, or is it nerfed to only get you garbage. im thinking of making a card farmer cuz this server is severely lacking in cards, and i have needs!!!

Not possible to Gank cards, save for a few monster exceptions. Even then, those exceptions are poor choices to farm. I don't know what you mean by nerfed, but it was always this way. You are also mistaken to believe this server is severely lacking in cards.

You have to be extremely lucky to even gank a card, its easier to just mob and kill everything than to gank each mob one by one.

To be more precise on kiefer's words, that's only for the few monsters as exceptions.

what about items? so far it sounds pretty worthless to make a rogue class for making money. i remember using a rogue like 8 years ago and getting tons of monster junk, but never a single drop. seeing as its x2 drop week though, i was thinking it would be a great time to make a rogue since the x2 would stack on the rogues x2 chance for a drop.

Drop increasing effects do not affect the items you can get from Gank.

Gank is just Steal autocast, so all of Steal's quirks apply:

* Items in the 8th drop slot cannot be stolen (this is where cards are in almost every case)
* You cannot steal from boss-flagged monsters.
* All other items can be stolen.
* Gum and other drop rate altering effects do not effect steal.
* Drops are checked in order of the drop slot - so high drop junk in the first slots makes it harder to get rares in the later slots.

So pretty much useless for farming anything other then materials or healing items lol
