Hai guys~
Just wondering, if you send in a ticket reporting a rude and abusive player, who swears heaps and makes references to killing your family, would the GMs ban that account?
And if so, how long would it be banned for?
Would they ban that ONE account, or all the accounts that person owns?

maybe a temp ban. if its continuous after multiple infractions then probably a perm.

They'll only ban that one account.

Hmm. How long do temp bans last for?
Do those idiots get a warning?

Generally they last for at least few days for this kind of offense.
If it's as severe as you claim it to be, then no.
That's good. I presume you probably sent in a ticket with those "juicy" details?
If that's all you did then that person definitely is getting a forced timeout.

If they say racist/blatantly offensive/threatening things just calmly ask them to stop which will probably make them keep going. Take a few screenshots and report it. If they come on multiple characters report them each. Only the account of the offending character will get banned. In your report make sure you sound extra hurt and offended and if this has happened multiple times, mention it. A+.

Even if you baited them into saying it they'll most likely get a ban.

the most important part of reporting someone is acting like you're very hurt by what the person said. you could probably get someone banned for calling you a douche if you make it seem like they're doing it constantly.

Someone I know got a 1 day ban for saying the word "Bad" too many times to some kid. Pretty epic. Just have to sound hurt and offended. I comped him at some mvps and got him back though when he started cursing me out though, A+

Still see him walking around and keeps harassing me.
Think i got him banned once.

I should start reporting people every time they PM me something "rude". I could probably have gotten half of valk pvp banned for a months there X_x

It figures the person that curses at people in TI parties for pulling a mob on them by accident is trying to report someone for abuse.

This reminds me of that one time I had a psycho stalker...leaving death threats and crap, don't even know why. Luckily they vanished! For the most part anyway...I still get one threat every 1~3 months. I DID get them banned for it at one point. (When it was nearly everyday.) So, yes, you can get people banned for threatening/ harassing you.

I cant seem to log into renewal...
I can get into classic with no problems..
But everytime I try to select the server (chaos), the character select screen doesnt pop up, instead it says that it "Failed to connect to server"

What does this meannnnn T_T
