Would you happen to know how much zeny he charges?

Although even if it's possible to buy without KP, I can't imagine it being more convenient then Ragial. I check Ragial when I can't see my vends in game (when I'm in class etc), which is something I obviously won't be able to do if my only searching option is a poorly-designed in-game item,

And does the catalogue even list buying shops, for that matter?

Uff... I dont remeber very well, i think something like 200 z... But not 100% sure.
And, the window shows the shop name, but not the location like ragial...
And, if i recall correctly, the catalog from the kafra shop lets you shop directly from it.
Also, it let you search for selling and buying items, but it is case sensitive, and if you write the item name incorrectly, it takes one search away...
At least, that is the behavior on a private server that was in sync with kRO, but never tried in iRO.

So basically it's still a lot less convenient then Ragial, and you gotta pay for it. If they could at least design it better, then I might be able to justify bothering with it but really... it's just not worth it.

It doesn't show you the location of the shop.. the only thing it ensures you is that the item is on vend on the town you used the catalog. The one sold with kp lets you buy the item but again searching for a specific item is annoying specially if the name of the item is very long ex.: "Red Twin Edge of Naught Sieger" Heck it's so case sensitive it's like inputting a password.

ragial is down thanks to awesome noob GM who banned it when specifically there is a note not to ban it due to an arrangement. only the 8th time this has happened I think. When Oda gets in it should be dealt with in the morning.

You'll want to note that the "Search exact" button is actually the inverse: if you type "Battle Manual" without "exact", you won't get results, but if you check it, you'll find HE and BMx3 just fine.

Also, don't close the window.

Oh yeah, i just searched for him again he looks like vivi lol. He sells the window shopper catalogs for 200z, it's literally window shopping because you can't buy the item nor it says the location of the shop it's being vended. It only tells you the price of the item you searched and the name of the shop..

you can click on the shop's name when you search for an item with that catalog thing and it'll mark it on your mini-map if i remember correctly.

Everything in RO is case sensitive. Honestly it's the only game I've ever come across that's so particular about capital letters.
