we did that in pRO, pre-renewal. even leechin in that dungeon. solo champs just hit Snipers and other squishy targets tho iirc

You will have a hard time clearing a snipers HP with Assumptio, as your base asura damage would need to be 117,800, which is unlikely in a WoE build (you probably hit near 80-85k), and of the things you can kill, Sniper has the least HP.
And since iRO doesn't sell ygg berries from the kafra shop, it's extremely expensive.
