hi, i see people posting items ie: bow +12 (clean), evolved orc hero helm and such. What does this mean? I just recently started playing ragnarok again and these are all new terms to me. If someone could explain it i'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Evolved refers to certain gears (old kafra shop gear) that had the same sprite of an old item, but with better stats. Only certain gear can be evolved, and there aren't many of them.

Clean means it has one or more card slots in it, but it is not filled with any card yet.

Clean items are items that have no cards in their slots yet.

Evolved Items are Cash Shop items that are superior quality versions of ingame items.

I don't know what you mean with "proper" though.

I certainly use the word "proper" fairly often here in relation to gear/equipment/builds in the same way that it is normally used in the english language. Like, I might say "with proper gear, killing X should be no problem", to mean that if you have the appropriate gear for the task, you won't have a problem killing that monster. There's no special meaning for that word in RO.
