Did you actually get billed? My guess is this was your first time buying WPE and you got told you needed to wait on verification
The first time you use a credit card to buy WPE, the transaction does not go through, and you're told you need to wait for verification. After this (you may get an email, but the email usually gets blocked by anti-spam measures, and may not even make it to the spam folder), you need to do the purchase process again.
When you try to buy points the first time, and get told you need to be verified, you aren't billed, and the billing information is not retained by gravity, so they can't make the purchase go through automatically once you are verified.
