Was just wondering what skills are viable for an expanded super novice? Think there's frost nova and that's it?

I haven't turned any of my Super Novice(s) to expanded yet, but I do plan to get at least Faith for any of my planned builds. Beyond that, I suppose it depends on the purpose of the character and the situations one wants to be able to handle. For instance, I have considered maybe getting Quagmire for its debuff purposes perhaps to help dodge/survive against monsters on a melee build though on the other hand that requires a number of points in prerequisite skils. Sanctuary would be useful for party play of sorts even for a non-support build (just not sure if I want to concentrate a build on only attack/killing skills or include ones that may be useful in a party).
