Yep, it is April 18th. They've announced it a few times already.

As for the client download... well I'm not sure about that. May need confirmation from Oda/Campitor I guess?

where did they announce it at? I just liked the facebook page today and I haven't seen it on the forums.. *is blind*

They announced it in a few maint threads some time ago, there were e-mails also sent out stating that RO2 NA Beta is starting soon and that sign-ups were available for Beta Testing.

how do I make an account without making a new warpportal account?

I clicked "already a warpportal user? click here" when I put in my email on the registration and it detected it, and it just took me to the main warpportal account page. Ragnarok 2 was not an option for a game to add.

Go back to the registration page for RO2 while signed into Warpportal.

Oda actually said something in one of the RO2 related topics about forums and client as well as full site being up within a couple days of the open beta. It's not much longer guys! *too excite*

The client exe is not live yet but it will be available for download before beta launches. We just completed some localization work on the patcher so it will be up petty soon.

psssst shouldnt the RO2 categories be placed underneath the RO1 categories and not the dead bottom of the forum :V
