I don't consider any of this valid criticism of the class. Until april 2nd, Genetics had absolutely no serious way to tackle ghosts at all, themselves, and they are a core class. Some classes are still largely ineffective against them. KE has the exact same bug cart cannon did... and it took 2 years to get fixed. K/O may get fixed too, who knows. You know you can tank monsters like Novus too, right? Like seriously-- with Pure Soul that restores HP/SP to full over 10 seconds? Just cast that and KE next to you, and they'll all die. I like to cast that, fly wing, cast it again during its delay (does nothing, but aggros all monster) then target your own cell with KE and kill them all, then fly wing again. use your skills effectively, don't complain because they don't work the way you want them to. Also you have that same elemental problem with a lot of classes. And uh, you're wrong about exploding dragon-- it IS affected by charms.




Yes they did. I have never missed ghost monsters unless I was lower level with low hit. NInja class can't tank worth -_-, look at thier HP. Maybe it's a bug, but from 1 HP when I use level 5 Pure Soul it does not heal me max, only 95% or so. And why do we have to be glorified Mages or Archers that aren't even as good to get anywhere, Ninjas are melee masters of weapons.

I never did, I don't know about anyone else. I looked at almost all ghost monsters on the wiki, they all have extremely high flee for the level. The MVPs all have over 500 flee, so it is hard to hit them, but I never had trouble hitting them with a high hit stat.

I hate these
"QQ, MY LASS IS OVER NERFED, GMS I DEMAND A REFUND, MAKE IT WORK, IM A TERRIBLE PLAYER AND HAVE NO STRATEGY."


I take things like Super Novices and Maestros into PvP and murder people, complete obliteration, with very underpowered skills like fire bolt and bugged skills like severe rainstorm.

If GMs refuse to unerf something it's likely because it actually needed a nerf. You might not understand it but they do. Don't doubt they have people who look for severely over power strategies using LOWER TIER SKILLS.

The problem with Ragnarok players is that we focus so much at max damage and fixing stats right we don't do much when it comes to tactics and actual skill at playing. There is nothing under power about K/O, it's just you aren't using it right. Again, if I can kill an RG in PvP as a level 103 Super Novice? You can probably level effectively with a K/O.

You basically have to rely more on strategy instead of damage output. It takes a while to come up with a strategy, but it's worth it. Kind of like getting a card that allows cloaking or hiding so they can use a sniping strategy. While I agree a little more sensible nerf for the ninja class is in order, it would be more sensible to adapt tactics to take advantage of anything. That's exactly why I'm making my ranger a hybrid.

One is an event in PvP. While it may be possible for an underdog (Super Novice) to take out heavier classes, it is and won't be the norm. In the majority of cases, this underdog will be stomped in PvP no matter the cute strategy.

On the other hand people talk about leveling up (PvM) regarding these Ninja types. Effectively leveling up. This is not about a single event, this is about an RO life. So to make this slightly comparable, it should be about super effective Super Novice leveling strategies and not about PvP fooling around days.

its stupid to compare leveling to woe/pvp... you dont use the same skills sets in one as you do another (unless youre a pure magic build)... you dont see K/O classes in pvp using kunai or huuma attacks... and you dont see K/O KSing and RTing monsters to level... theres a huge disconnect between the two... which is why so many people level and then switch to another build when theyre maxed out...

K/O is not really much more suitable for WoE than a Supernovice or Soul Linker-- they have things they can do, can annoy other players pretty effectively, but don't expect them to be on the same level as the core classes.

You're missing the point. I'm not comparing leveling to PvP at all, that's stupid, it takes two completely different styles of playing. MY POINT is that you can do things with your class if you're intelligent enough! Stop fixating on amount of damage and cool downs and find out how to work around them. My maestro, for gods sake, has outdone -rangers- in PvM on occasion because of strategic placing of SR and Arrow Shower. My Super Novice was the only one in a TI party who never died. And I killed a sura with a throwing ninja at level 93 >_> and harassed plenty other people. I can solo a TI with my monk, who has no points in STR, AGI, or LUK, and never lift a finger.

tho the exploding kunai aoe is a bit tiny to be ground target AND have a cast time.... maybe if it was single target (like throw huuma used to be) or they made the aoe bigger it would be ok...but the aoe is kinda screwy.... especially when the camera angle is off a lil bit.... 5x5 is by no means a ground breaking aoe for a skill of this type...
