i have 2 pc's so i know its not supposed to be black at the login screen

windows 8
nvidia

I have the same issue, but now that I can login I can't see my character during creation.


EDIT : I figured it out, it was the shadow effect that caused everything to appear black.

EDIT 2 : It appears all the effects break the game just about.

I'm having the same problem. Changing shadow effect just makes it playable, but everything flickers and the right side of the screen is blue.

This game don't like antialising, try turning it off (from graphics card settings). Worked for me with NVIDIA card.

like through nvidia control panel? and yeah i had to uncheck everything and while tlaking to quest givers there's a blue side of where their portrait is. and when i crit the screen flashes blue lol
