i've just come back from a looong break so i'm sorry if this is a noob question, but i'm confused.

i see that to become an archbishop you have to transcend and be either a high priest or a priest. does this mean a priest can become either high priest or bishop? or do you have to be a high priest and then you can become archbishop?

like:
high aco > high priest > arch bishop
or is it
high aco > arch bishop

i'm just confused, can somebody break down the order for me? how do you become an archbishop?

It's high aco -> HP -> AB

You can technically go Aco -> Priest -> AB and skip trans entirely, but that's pointless unless you wanna be a kawaii baby or something.

You can go AB directly from priest (Acolyte->Priest->Arch Bishop). But in that case, you lose on some stat points, skills and 25% HP/SP which you get for transing a character. http://irowiki.org/wiki/Transcendent

The usual way is Acolyte->Priest->trans->High Novice->High Acolyte->High Priest->Arch Bishop. Well worth it.

so i'm assuming ideally you want to get to HP lvl99 then > AB?

do you have to start over a third time or do you just get to change?
