How does it work?

Here's an example of what happened to me earlier,

I tried to sell 20 Red Potions at, let's say, 30 rupies.
But when somebody brought all 20 of them, it seems that I only got 30 rupies out them all? Instead of 600 rupies!

Why is that?

It's a known bug. The system sells the entire stack not one by one. So you would have to calculate how much the total would be. It's tedious considering if someone wanted to buy 10 potions instead of 20, they cant.

CMs said they are aware of it however. Hopefully it will be fixed in official.

Actually, I don't think it's really a bug; more of a limitation of the programming. You either sell a stack or you sell individual pieces. A lot of 3D MMOs work the same way when it comes to vending. RO2 is no different. Don't approach RO2 with RO in mind because you're going to be sadly disappointed with how things work in the game.
