Okay, so I updated yesterday with the extreamely long update. And when I checked it this morning it was fine. But now that its just 2 hours before launch its trying to update again and the launcher doesn't even come up. When I try to open up the game I get "Failed to update patch." Anyone else getting this?

It is possible they took the patch servers down momentarily to provide a fix/update prior to launch.

i got the same issue, at 4211545 bytes, that error: failed update patch pops out

Okay, then I wont bother trying to re download the game. That might take awhile since its just about to go live......hopefully, thank you guys for the quick responses. lol. I was already on the download page weighing the options.

I'm getting this as well, i already tried reinstalling but now i can't patch at all, it errors everytime at the updater.

It takes awhile, but it will finish. I finished it a little while ago.

Dear Njoror reported in the post in the tech support forum that they're fiddleing with a patch on their end; it'll be fixed soon enough, we all hope, hehe.

Had the same problem, tried this ^ and it worked, thanks alot I didn't have the MD5FileList.txt_Tmp though, but since it was for deleting, I guessed it wasn't necessary anyway...

you can try find in your RO2 folder

MD5FileList.txt and MD5FileList.txt_Tmp

delet MD5FileList.txt_Tmp

and open MD5FileList.txt with notepad

delet all the text save and close the right klik the MD5FileList.txt properties >>> chek the read only and start the ragnarok2 again

Mine's updating fine as well. Just got home and patched about 5 min ago and it's done.
But I also did the kinda long-ish patch last night.

He's not being negative, at least here. He's being a realist.

You havn't been with WP very long I take it.

You'll get used to it, no worries. You come to expect failures from them, then get up, brush yourself off, and expect more.


It's basically become habitual around the WP forums.
