If you have any custom UI's or mods installed: changed it back to the default UI before I tried patching

I un-re install the Game ,but still got the error

By the way, i reinstall PhysX too and downgrade it to Old version ,but it didn't work too

 

 

i'm getting tired of having a problame ,with every single patch (T.T)

its one problem after another. I finally got my stuff to patch. And now i'm having a phyx error. This is frustrating. >_>

couldn't play the game for 2 days since I was trying to fix my patch problems.

Reintalled and worked, so glad!!! Now, if Gravity would please fix the ultra lag issue...

I uninstall, erase all the registry entries about the game and reinstall... and it works!!!!

Yup, I tried the steam version as a last resort, and I had no problems patching, nor any problems with the physx error. Now, Its a frame rate issue, along with the game freezing when hovering over hot keys/skills and when talking to npc's.

I still want a solution for the physX error though. >_>

Problem with steam version is that you have a make a new account =(

Not really, all you have to do is

go to program files,steam,steam apps, common, and in the Ragnarok online folder, just open the RO2Client. and also just set it as a shortcut~

This did not work for me either. Im running Windows 8 AMD with the latest Nvidia version.

Uninstalled 2012 ver. and installed the 2010 version, and the patch still failed. 

 

Always stops at 90%... 

 

EDIT*: Nevermind downloading Steam makes it work just fine for me but still laggy of course.

When I first download and started the game , I also had the error saying I did not have physX file or what not.

But... found the solution on youtube.

Open your documents or whereever you download/placed the RO2 files into. (as for me, I just searched physX in my documents).

Then manually install the client. (click it, agree to it, install it)

Problem fixed, the game runs fine now.

Hope it works for you too.

ive tried the 2010 version,  the version that came with the game and the latest version, none work... could it be a problem with the registry files? my antivirus is also off atm...

I found someone who left a comment in FB who got this resolved and I just did what that person instructed and it fixed my PhysX error.

Follow this:

 

1. Completely remove RO2 (and all it's contents - even the installer) from your your PC (totally remove it, empty recycle bin if necessary).

2. Install the latest PhysX.

3. After installing, restart your PC.

4. Install the latest installer (either from WP, Steam or Aeria -  I used WP's installer)

5. Install the game and allow it to patch (Note: I didn't get any patch error at all while doing this).

6. Play the game.
