Just to hop in here. I am having major graphics issues with Nvidia as well. Here are some common issues from other posts and their fixes.
1. Are you running Microsoft Security Essentials or Windows Defender?
2. Have you tried re installing the game?
3. In C:\Program FIles(x86)\Gravity\Ragnarok Online 2\SHIPPING\ There is an executable I think ro2.exe or somehting similar.. its the only exe in there. Go to Compatability and set it for Windows XP SP3 disable visual themes and Desktop Composition.
4. Since you turned all setting off obviously sunlight, shadows, and outfocusing were off.
5. Have you tweaked your GPU ( Graphics card ) at all within the nvidia control panel or 3rd party ( like MSI after burner )?
6. Have you monitored your GPU temperature?
1. No
2. Have uninstalled 4 times. The 4th time I installed from a new location other than Steam. ( same problems though )
3. Can try the compatibility thing though I have Win 7 64.
4. Wasn't really a question
5. Nvidia control panel yes, but only once the problems hit.
6. GPU Temp sits around 42 C

Can you disable outfocusing effects it is causing many problems. I have seen it cause this issue. That disabled with compatibility is something I would like to try.Tried out Windows XP SP3 and Run as Admin. Neither worked.

That was with Outfocusing simply so I could show you what its doing. The screen shot with the quest its already turned off.,
Have you tried windowing the game at a lower resolution to see if it happens? Sorry I am going through very remedial troubleshooting without having your system in front of me
Did you also disable visual themes etc?

Here I am hitting Outfocusing Effect, but really It doesn't matter. Any of those 3 check box's nets the same result. I can also get these results when turning in quests, not all quests, Seems to only be some. Such as the one linked above titled "Good News for my daughter!" or by going underwater. Note** I can swim above water fine, but if the camera goes underwater I will get these results.
The next question is to try and run at different resolutions down to 1280x768(Wide) are identical in results. I did however get a change at 1280x1080 as you can see here. The messed up part of the screen now only covers 1/4 of the window,
That is the largest I can do w/o being a widescreen, To me that looked hopeful in that it may be a resolution matter, perhaps a problem with larger resolutions so I decided to keep going down. I was surprised that anything UNDER 1280x1084 yielded worse results, it actually started to effect the entire screen. Not sure why
So essentially 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x960 It effects the whole screen. 1280x1024 It effects 1/4 of the screen. And all widescreen resolutions effect half the screen.
Again these can be caused by several factors. SOME are controllable. To go over those again. These are cause by:
1. Outfocusing Effect: Shadow Effect, Sunlight Effect - Simple solution, turn them off until further notice.
2. Quest turn in: Have seen no real pattern on which are effect and which are not, no way around it.
3. Underwater: Avoid deep waters if possible. Not high level, not sure if this will ever be a real issue
4. Critical Hits: Turn off Flashes on Critical Hit in "Game Settings"
Nothing else is known on this issue. Would still love a mod to pop there head in here.

Yes, all resolutions have been tried at both Windowed and Full Screen. Visual Themes have also been disable and re-enabled for each test so I could try with and w/o.

Boy you have a tough one . I want to try the newest beta driver for you to see if there were any bug fixes that may help you. Also when you do the install there will be some sort of option to do a clean wipe of all nvidia settings. PLEASE CHOOSE THAT OPTION.

everything in this post, using older drivers, reinstalling, just about everything short of reformatting my computer ~_~'
When you installed the beta drivers did you make sure to do an advanced install and chose the option that wipes out all the old data?

Hello, I've been having a similar issue although i have no idea what to do to fix it. I've tried everything in this post but still have no progress nor have I clue of whats going on. Mine seems to only been giving issues when I get into a cave, now I have only tried 1 cave which is the first one (the first time you face Kiel) and it gets worse as I move on. Here are some screenshots please help me I really want to be able to play this, I was able to play RO2 about 1 year ago on this same computer and had no issues, now I get this.
