Ragnarok Monster Lore : Maya
Maya is the Queen of the Monster Ant that dwells in the AntHell Colony. She is the reproducing female ant in an ant colony, generally she will be the mother of all the other ants. Although her appearance resemble nothing of a normal ant , she is still considered as one. Her origin is not related to any normal ants nor any of her subordinates and childrens. She is a unique ant and considered to be special in alot of ways. Some even suggest that she is the origin of all Ants in the world. Her origin was dated back to the oldest civilization. It is said that she was born at the same time the earth was created.
Unlike the other normal ant queens , Maya have her own conscious. She have large control and influence over her colony and sometimes other colony that does not belong to her. She may subdue any other colony at will, without even having to lift a finger if she wants to. She have a powerful brain and coupled with her ability to tap into the minds of other insects, she can effectively control her swarm without hardly a thought.
Anything any of her ants sees, hears, feels, smells or even thinks she knows.
On the ground he has been known to out pace some of the fastest runners.Her superior speed enable her to slash her opponents or enemies.
She is very powerful and very hard to kill. Her hands can change into a dangerous weapon if she or the colony is threatend.
Maya have a body the resemble a human female that is attached to a larger part of body that resemble a large insect. Although it seems like 2 creature (the human body on the large insect) , both body are actually one entity. The human body is attached to the insect body via tentacle stem that acts like a cable or tube that allows both body to interact as one. Maya have 4 pairs of insect legs that allows her to run at a remarkable speed and a couple more on the upper part but it doesnt serve for walking purposes. The upper part act more like a hand or as holder for the human body. Maya human head is also attached to a Insectoid crown like shaped that is actually connected to the insect body. The Insectoid Crown is also attached with a bunch of funiculus or antennas. There are 4 main funiculus attached infront of the crown and a bunch more at attached to the back. Her hands can turn into sharp pincers that enable her to defend her colony and herself.
Maya rarely wander out of AntHell. She mostly dwells in the colony and tend to her swarm. She have a male counterpart that is called Maya Purple. Like Maya , he have a humanoid human body , but is a male. However Maya Purple does not inhabit in the Anthell.
