• Added the Memorial Dungeon in Lutie Toy mode (Horror Toy Factory).

It pays to check irowiki.org often. The quest guide is available there and the quest ends after the next maintenance. It is part of the Rachel Spotlight.

Since the quest was put in just this week, it will go until the end of June.

It's rewards like this that make quests worth doing It's also thanks to 2x that I decided to log into RO and see everyone walking around with lamps on their heads, thus making me aware of the quest!

I just saw some guildies with them, and I was all "omg where'd you get those Dx"

10 luck on a costume is horribly OP. another event that shows the incompetence of the people in charge.
whoever states that it's just a little stat boost forgets that luck has other uses aswell. apart from crafting, smithing, cooking, it helps for certain skills like for example auto warg (as mentioned before).

let's just compare it to one of the upcomming headgear cards:

• LUK + 2
• If used by merchant types, each 3 refine adds LUK + 1

oh, so everyone gets a merchant exclusive carded +24 (i know that's no possible, don't bring it up) headgear as COSTUME, can't see anything wrong with that.

do take a minute to ponder about why luck providing gear such as excalibur, hat of fortune or green maiden cards are so extremely expensive.

is this quest still ingame?... because it would be really aweful if not. I just found out about this quest and I think it's really unfair if its not available anymore to be honest... +10 luk istn something you just don't care about if you just missed it because you never freakin heard about this damn quest / headgear... -.-

The quest was in the game for over a month. If you missed it, just hang tight until they release it in a box through the Kafra Shop in a few months.

That's what they did with the Costume Cake Hat, so I would not be surprised if they did it with the Tarnished Lamp Costume.

I was waiting to help a friend do it but they stopped getting on >.> so only one of my accounts got it. Now I want to make a new axe smith that's crit based but soo out of luck (as it were).

Its a really good costume for classes like auto rangers and crit sins I imagine. None of my characters on the account that got it are luck based or do crafting so derp.

Aww I really hope this comes back. Pretty OP and unfair it was only available for a limited time for a +10 stat. I thought costumes weren't supposed to add anything. Bummed I was away from the game during this time. Hopefully it comes back!

wait so since I took a break from this game my potter is always going to be inferior to those who played during that time because a costume item(that is supposed to be cosmetic) is both account bound and giving a ridiculously overpowered stat bonus that makes the kRO Shadow equip system (which adds =1 to stats on costume slots) look pointless? Whose idea was this?

It's a 10th Anniversary Costume Headgear that gives +10 Luck.

 

So yes if you missed it you will want to shoot yourself in the head.

 

Just like the Moon costume on my head that gives me 50 atk and 50 matk (which is not mentioned in this thread and is not over powned)

Pretty much. Can you name an MMO that doesn't have limited time items that you get screwed if you miss? Also, didn't anyone yell at you to come do the quest before it leaves? I notified a few people who I knew were on break - I'd think the people who knew you were on break would have done that for you.

Costumes should not give effects... the whole point of a costume was so if you had an ugly hat with good effects you could disguise it with a good sprite. It defaults the whole point of the costume system when you need to wear both headgears for their stats and the costume one is ugly. Like isisthump said we need a 3rd layer now to hide the ugly lamp with our angel wing or whatever. Face-palm...

actually the tarnished lamp was part of the Rachel spotlight not the 10th anniversary... it just kinda bled over into the 10th anniversary time frame...

No it's not. 

 

I was noting that frequently RO has frequently made supposedly limited time items available again  well after the original event.
