So I've just got a full WoE set for my Minstril to wear when he is a Maestro in WoE.

I'm curious though as to what actually takes effect when.

I slotted in a Raydric card into the Manteau, a Verit card into the Boots and a Marc card into the Suit. My question is do the cards and DEF rating work in PvM and only the set bonus and stats are for WoE?

Or are the items rendered useless, cards and all, outside WoE?

I'd like to wear the boots and manteau outside of WoE just for the card.

The cards, def, and mdef always work. Any additional effects on the equipment only work in a woe castle or on any other pvp flagged map.
