I think you're doing something wrong here by comparing Worgens and Assassins in RO2... You should instead compare them with druids, since in WoW, the druids follows the same path of fighting the spirit before joining into 1 and taking their form... soooo there!  :p_smile:

I don't mind shadowform, mainly because my assassin is called RedWedding, and the wolfy form thing ties into that.  But then I can also understand people's frustrations when they can't show off their costumes and such.  I'm included in that, since I love love love costumes (though since I have ten 30+ characters now, it may be for the best that one doesn't need them.)   I think the only way around this is to make a toggle on toggle off feature, then the people who hate it can turn it off, the people who like it can keep it.

At last, Sneeze.  You finally made it.   *sat in chair stroking a cat muahahaha.*  I have a PurpleWedding too now rofl >_>

 

Either way, should be interesting to see what the devs come up with in terms of shadow form.  I swear this is the only game I've seen where they take things into consideration that the playerbase comments on.

Good god that's a massive improvement. I just hope it can translate well from concept art to in-game. lol

It's true, i've played all the closed beta tests from kRO2, i've seen so much change in this game, nor i and my friend has played too the test liked the RO2 as it, us prefer the testing verions mainly to CBT2 version (wich has the version who has using this class description on the image).

Bumping the sin QQ thread for visibility of our continuing pain.

 

My two cents is that if swordsman classes don't need a visible effect to differentiate aura blade/armor (which could alter how we approach them) then we don't need anything to tell people we're using our usual buffs. I wouldn't mind an affect hanging around but hopefully nothing more obtrusive than priests' sacrament. Shadow unicorn horn mebbe°ω°? That's actually my favorite part of the form. Unicorns are cool. Also there are so many ways to fix this thematically it goes past not-funny and becomes hilarious again.

 

If you guys aren't satisfied with the current story of being infected by a shadow fiend, i've love to see some alternate storylines in the Creative sections for it.

As it stands now, you got infected, and the only way to get rid of it was to have Eremes kill you. So you took control of your own life and you are stuck with the shadow fiend.

 

I'd love for the solution to be a quest later in the game and maybe even at the assassin fortress where a solution is discovered, we do a little quest and everything gets better. The story is satisfied, we're satisfied, and all the future assassins will get to experience the pain even if just for a short time. This also leaves room for the people who like it to have a toggle on option of some type.
