Ok this may sound stupid but i managed to close my quest tracker. and i cant reopen it ive tried every button been reading online and no one can help or says anything about it please tell me how to thank you.

Alt+U opens the quest log window.

Ah, was going to suggest that.
I've seen that behavior with the chat window - it somehow gets moved offscreen, and you need to restart the client for it to sort itself out.
