to be honest, I thought the chatting system in Ragnarok online is the best i've seen in any online games i've played.
After playing Requiem for a little, I observed that the chatting system is very similar to the chatting system they have in WoW, which is far less convenient than the one in RO.
the features i like about RO's chatting system:
alt+enter goes to guild chat
ctrl+enter goes to party chat
a seperate bar for whisper list
filtering ur chat window

There are shortcuts to the chat too, you can find them in the help option in the game: for example the ! before the text, make the message go to the normal chat.

There is also a way to separate the whisper, you must go to the game options/ game, and then put the option to use chat window. (later i check wich was the exact option).
