Hi there,
i dunno if it's a bug, but one thing is making me crazy and i need help:

Every time i try to use black marketer's bulk buyer license it fails (look at the screenshot)



Like you can see (on the screenshot) i have license (60!), few millions of zenny also. I'm not overweighted... i just don't know what's going on with this..

I don't know since when it is not working properly. Few weeks ago I used bulk buyers license hundreds of times and it always worked...

any ideas?

What is your character's class?

Read the chat window.... You need a "Bulk Buyer Shop License", not a "Black Market Bulk Buyer Shop License"

The bulk buyer shop licenses come from the guy in the merchant guild, and only work for merchant classes who have paid the z to the npc, and let you buy 5 items at a time. (Mr. Hugh, i think)

The black market ones come from the guy in the assassin pub, are a usable item that works for any class and only lets you buy 1 item type at a time, and are far more expensive. (Mr. Jass)

My class is Royal Guard. I used the black market bulk license hundreds of times... i usually bought ori/elu and it ALWAYS worked. Dont say i need to be merchant class, cause I know it was working properly...

Yeah i've been having that on my RG too, i'm not sure whats up

I've reproduced this behavior.

Black Market Bulk Buyer Shop Licenses do not work unless you have a Bulk Buyer Shop License in your inventory now. The Bulk Buyer Shop License is not consumed.

I've done it with multiple bulk buyers in my inventory too and still fails.

I discovered another problem. When i bought the normal Bulk buyer shop license (the one that you can get in the merchant guild building) and then tried to buy BLACK MARKET bulk buyer license (the one that you can buy in morroc from Black marketeer npc) the npc dont want to sell it for me anymore.

It says: "Hey, you already made a contrac with Hugh. I don't have any business with you".

Can anybody do something with it - its impossible to buy items in bulk right now...

Or just give me some ideas how to do it other way.

So you have a merchant who's got the skill. Just use the normal bulk buyer licenses and Open Buying Store skill on the merchant...

yeah... but the main reason why I want to use black market buyer license is to use it on my RG char who has tons of STR --> thus large weight limit... And its imossible to get the normal bulk buyer license with non-merchant class.

I miss those days when I (priest) could use the Black Marketer license. It was a handy way to show new people about the benefits of creating their own merchant char to do both selling OR buying. Now, when I click on the license, it is consumed without any error popup message. At first, I thought it was due to not having a single item in inventory that could be bought in bulk, but I already have in my char's inventory various items that can be bulk purchased, so that cannot be the source of error.

Now that almost 2 weeks have passed, I have tried to re-verify Dr.Azzy's check, and the Black Market Bulk Buyer Shop License does NOT work even if I have a Bulk Buyer Shop License in my inventory. To test Dr. Azzy's assertion, my priest obtained BOTH the normal bulk buyer shop license AND the black market licenses along with example bulk items in inventory such as sticky mucus and skel-bone. With the official license in my inventory, I still am unable to open a shop. However, the change is that a black market license is no longer consumed with each try. Without the official license in my inventory, one black market license is consumed with each futile try.

This seems to suggest that Gravity realized that they only want merchants to be able to open a shop of any kind.
