After glancing through the majority of the guides made for the multiple classes, I noticed that most of them are outdated.  But still helpful~ 

 

That got me thinking, I want to see updated guides and new guides!  Guides like this, this and this one are great examples of helpful insightful guides. 

 

Most or all the guides need to be updated and the Shaman class could use one as well.

 

I bet your asking yourself; Why would I create a guide? What's in it for ME?

 

Well you complete a guide like the examples linked above then.. you will be awarded: x1 Equipment Inventory Expansion, x1 Consumable Inventory Expansion, x1 Miscellaneous Inventory Expansion, x1 Cash Shop Inventory Expansion, and 300 points worth of Item Mall Items!

Oh not here Rabbi, but in the class sections they correlate too. 

EX: Invoker goes under Mage, Ninja goes under Thief, etc.

The rewards being offered don't justify the amount of work I'd have to do just to write a guide, in addition you want screenshots? 

 

If you want a proper and extensive guide at least reimburse people properly for their time, otherwise you're just expecting people to do this for charity and with the amount of players there are currently in the game I wouldn't hold my breath.

Suggestion start

 

Have a grading system in which you can reward the guide author properly.

You can vote among staff or yourself, or players.

 

Grade 1 - For short, 200-300 word guide - reward would be 200-300IM + some  IM piece (just an example)

Grade 2 - Semi-extensive 400-600 word guide with screenshots - reward 700IM + maybe an advanced IM set of player choice

Grade 3 - Extensive 1k+ Word guide with screenshots, leveling guide, skill guide, pve boss guide, pvp guide included, end game guide, upgrading guide etc. (2-3kIM + 2 IM sets of the players choice + a special gift)

Just giving you something to mull over.  I'd be willing to write a 2k-3k extensive guide if the rewards justified the amount of work I'd do. And the more guides there are better, it would stop people from shouting in trade or using their Mega's to ask questions.

Well, technically I really don't have to give anything away. 

 

I just felt like players deserve to get something for taking the time to create a guide.  I only suggest screenshots because I prefer them but they aren't necessary. 

 

Believe me, I have written 12 Megabytes worth of text in Notepad for guides and mostly all I got was "Thanks!"

 

If your guide is freaking o-mazing, I might be give able to give you more but yeah.

I still can't finish my guide because I don't know the exact changes from pt.1 galaxia skill wise or if some of the changes in part 2 are a bug or not.

I was thinking of making a guide for Summoner, I've been making my own build up to now lvl 47, following a bunch of other guides and reading and I'm destroying things and leveling very fast.

 

I guess I'll make one during next week, don't want to use my free weekend with 2x exp on writing a guide

I made this guide for dragoon, as the old one wasn't up to date (and was talking about calculating maths etc which is not very useful for new players). When I have time I also will create a guide for warmage.
