Anyone have MAJOR issues using these skills now? Animation is much longer (when you consider skills that will hit u with the same effect that have half the animation you already see an issue... with getting skill locked/bugged). Also in woe you cannot use shadow assault from hide in ALOT of places (or even dungeons/colo.... its bad enough the skill didn't work properly in the small rooms now this makes it so you can barely use it) , you just look like a retarded frog jumping all over the place doing no dmg or knockdown.

yup....thanks to the stupid patch Shadow Assault is useless now. beside the fact that the animation takes 2s to hit people,
it's no longer 20m range attack on most of the map.... like it doesnt even let me use it in WoE unless im 1m with people....and when they start running...i kept getting those "Target Out Of Range" even though they are still right in front of me....

Being able to constantly Shield Charge to run up to people in Colosseum sounded neat at first, but without the impact/stun the target just keeps running away so it turns out to be pointless too.

Yup I have a Sin and Shadow Assault for me is even more broken. I reported it in the bugs thread a while ago. It does all kinds of neat glitches including reseting monsters. Yes. It makes monsters run away from you and go back to it's spot.
I'm okay with the up and down animation as long as it doesn't freeze anymore but it does.... so it just makes it worse. The skill was broken before and now its just extra broke to the point of useless. It also does the up and down animation and then errors saying "out of range" and then it never hits or does anything. I used to use this skill all the time :\
Please don't tell me it's going to stay this way. It really need to get fixed to like before. These skills weren't OP so why'd this happen?

I know there was a bug that could potentially be abused, but I can't go into detail with them. kRO gave us an extremely bad fix to them though, so I blame them like always for being bad at "fixing" things. I haven't even tested to see if it's still possible to do. *Still patching from yesterday*

I agree. I tested it out last night and today.
1. Shadow Assault HARDLY works while in hiding (I just jumped to targets like a mad "frog," and worked once out of 15 tials).
2. It DOES NOT works when in hiding.
3. Does not work on moving targets like it used to (once again, I just jumped around to th target like a mad frog.)
4. It has a chance of getting you "stuck in Shadow Assault animation" AND lock all your skills until you die (so you just fly round in midair like an idiot waiting to be killed in colo).
5. It has delayed animation (no longer seems like an instant cast).
6. Using this skill has a chance to KICK YOU OUT OF THE GAME WITH ERROR MESSAGE (confirmed with other assassin players).
7. The self buff skills (mark of genocide, etc.) takes longer to use (you can' seem to use all three buff skill right after another as before. It seems like there is an internal cooldown time that is shared by all three skills).
8. When Shadow Assault is actually used in hiding, the damage is NOT DOUBLED as it should due to the effect of Hide skill.
9. When Shadow Assault is actually executed, the damage DOES NOT seem to refect the percentage shown by the skill (e.g., 38% at max skill).
This skill is bread-and-butter for Assassins in PvP. Nerfing it or not fixng this problem is like telling Assassin players to forget about PvP or fighting against ranged classes.
Please......FIX IT NOW!

I used it a LOT out of colo too. It's great for emergency pounding down on adds that's attacking the healer. This is probably one of the worst issues in the new patch besides the fall through the floor mess.

I was doing some testing earlier. My warrior Tried to battle leap onto Lurker Fly + Minions, the skill missed on about 15 on them, did no damage, I didn't take aggro. Did it again, the same. I shouldn't be missing 15 Lurker Bebes with Battle Leap.

Seems you have a good chance of getting disconnected/error/game crash during Colosseum these days as well. It's happened so far in most Colosseum where I've tried using these skills. I haven't landed a single Shadow Assault since the skill started glitching, it brings me to the enemy but never activates, allowing me to use it an indefinite amount of times, which eventually kicks me from Colo and the game itself.

Just came out of Colo.......
Used to be able to make it to round 4 easily and round 5 for the most part. Now, with this bug/nerf, I am lucky if i even make it to round 3. I get kicked out after round 2 now....wth....

Yes. I totally agree. Although I forgot to mention it on my previous post, Shadow Assault, indeed, is a very vital skill in both PvP and PvE. I love how it stuns mobs fora few sec not only for the party to attack, but also for a tank to take back the lost aggro and, as mentioned in the above quote, save a party member in some occassions.
I just hope that is a bug issue and nothing will be changed about the skill (except aforemetioned bugs).

I've had it happen that I ended up floating around in the shadow assualt animation once or twice before this patch and I actually thought this made it better. It feels more responsive in PvE but now twice, once in colo and once in WoE field I've been rendered helpless and harmless. And it was the first thing that happened in colo. I just spent the entire first round unsuccessfully floating around the arena invisible trying to get hit by an AoE so someone would kill me. It's extremely irritating.
Fortunately I got my wish slightly late and fell to my death after being booted out of colo but that's a different matter.

No kidding I pretty much get to round 5 all the time on my sin, now I just crash when I try to use shadow assault more than like 3 times which is absolute BS when im in 1-3rd place in a round and the game crashes.

Know what you mean there. Noticed [Battle Leap] was missing on a large scale that is seen to be too noticeable. So I decided to test the theory myself to see if its just me.
I was running around with 111% [Hit Rate] and decided to test the [Battle Leap] on low leveled monsters (knowing we get a "level bonus" attacking lower leveled monsters). Turns out, the [Battle Leap] would miss everything (occasionally I would hit them sometimes).

Yup! The same thing just happened to me. In Colo, I tried to use Shadow Assault to at least close the gap with my target. But instead, I got kicked out of the game with error. Last night, I was showing my guild members how buggy the skill is via a duel, jumping around like a mad frog without landing any hit, it kicked me out of the game 3 times with the same error. Just when I thought I might get lucky and get to round 3 with the bug, this happens.....I was about to punch my monitor (prior to the last patch, I always made up to round 4 and 5 without any problems).

Has anyone noticed some issues with assassin's self buff skills? More specifically with how long it takes for a player to use each skill? I have been noticing that you have to wait longer to use each skill after another. Has anyone else experiencing this?
