Yes, this will be addressed soon. 

 

 

I hope you will take the more logical path in all of this. (the whole WP team not just you when I say that.) Also please address the BP Gain Loss ratio to a more reasonable amount. The recent change it it just lowered how bad it was but the over all ration means no matter how many kills a person gets in a group or solo they will always walk away with less BP then they entered with.

I like them too. I figured they are sorta like GW2 Siege equipment. SO keep them just limit them some. Or nerf the dmg a bit.

Most of the debuff/buff ones are fine in their own right. The ones that need serious tuning are the damage siege weapons themselves. Limits to all siege weapons across the board and a cost increase to use them would be great as well.

Quickest fix would be to increase the cost of all the items. Right now, it takes no more than 2.5 - 3 zenny to get 255 of every WoE siege item.

If WP is going to try be creative, at least start off slowly, and then build on it with new things.

 

Im not a fan of this siege stuff, but at least see how the pvp content and the rest of it plays out, before implementing more stuff.

 

KISS Keep it simple stupid, this is why imo colo was nice, not 100% fair and balanced ofc but at least it was fun and simple.

 

Only reason im playing woe is for the t2 colo gear ofc, nothing else.

I dont agree 100% on this, i like the siege systems but it has to be more limited, this has become a spam of siege and u cant even enter the fort, i dont like to compare but on WoW the Siege is only efective against buildings, and its valid that u use it for that porpose since the Gates, emperiums etc, have too much HP.

 

I agree with this point. Some siege weapons are an interesting addition. Like battering rams that are for instance needed to break gates. Maybe the could spawn at entrance only, so that attacking guild would need to escort them to gate, while defending guild tries to snipe them.

 

Zone control machines are cool to. A big sparkly ring on the floor that requires you to move away. It could be nice in breaking deadlocks.

 

However, getting 1-shot out of the blue by you-don't-know-what is not fun at all.

Agree. Even saw small group of people building cannons and  bombing the entire base 1. LOL no one cant get through.

and here i was gonna make a guild named "AngryBirds" for the sake of camping catapults! but in all seriousness i liked it more if its only player vs player and some battering rams for the gates

Should have just made it that each player can only drop down one of these machines of their choice for the entire duration of WoE.  This will dramatically reduce the amount of WoE's machines inside the map, What so hard about this fix? Even if WP going down this route, there will still be  ton of machines laying around in the map, simply because we have more than 300 people in this server participate in WoE.  That is at least 350 to 600 machines, way more than enough chaos for WoE.  I mean sicne each player can only drop down one machine of their choice during the entire time of WoE, it will make people reconsider what is a good time to drop one, where to drop one, it will all come down to strategy instead of mindlessly dropping them everywhere.  I just heard they going to put a cd on these machines, let say 20 minutes and WoE is an hr long so there gonna be 3 times as many as machines compare to my proposition.  I am like, really? Also, one more thing, limit the amount time each player can use the kafra save point in WoE (how about 1 to 3 times) I mean, as if clicking or taping through targets is not hard enough, you gotta throw in npc(s) just to mess things up.  All these changes that I am suggesting are pretty much all common sense to improve WoE.  Again, what so hard about this fix?  I can understand it takes time to fix things but what so hard to SEE what are the problems and to decide how to make changes on WoE?

I have to agree as well, should just be Player vs. Player. Some siege equips to a reasonable parameter in attack, quantity, and expenses.

You don't have to use crossbows to shut down a statue. Simply focus the person operating the statue, chuck a spear and you're done.

 

Also, if you think the removal of siege weapons will make it balanced, wait till you see the guild of 20 sorcs waltz in and take the emp.

Thats like saying 20 sorcs vs 20 sins, Sins pop defense buff and unload tearing up sorcs left and right... You can make this judgement call on multiple classes. But oh, I forgot because chaining stuns doesnt help. Rangers can multiple bird the same target while stealth, Priests dot and stun the group, Warriors stun the group, I mean do I really need to continue?

I agree with Fold. There are strategies to overcome a siege line. Its just that most players fail to use the resources that they are given and just automatically complain its OP and they should nerf it.

 

Remember this is the test phase that is why we have 3 WoE's a day, sit down come up with a strat then try to implement it.

 

For those asking to remove siege completely... that would make WoE so boring and not fun to play at all. It would basically whoever has the biggest guild wins and just becomes a zerg fest. Smaller guilds would never have a chance at all.

 

A more reasonable fix would be to put a global CD on all siege weapons and defensive structures. Lets say 30sec-1min that would fix the problem with 2-3 individuals setting up serveral weapons and barricades in a matter of moments.
