i don't understand why they changed sg to have a high chance to freeze on every hit at lvl 10 and low chance at lvl 1. if the monster freezes after one hit at lvl 10 (happens quite often) and the monster never freezes at lvl 1 (also often) lvl 1 can hit higher than lvl 10. i mean seriously its basically luck that determines if you hit higher with lvl 10 or lvl 1. i suppose they want ppl to have to use lvl 10 which has a longer cast time to freeze mobs instead of a quick lvl 1 but this ruins sg's damage on mobs that can freeze. so can anyone give me some logical reason for changing sg because i don't see a problem with being able to quickly status a mob at the expense of doing little damage.

@Jaye:
OP is correct. Only recently (Last week) did kRO reverse SG to freeze at low lvl and do damage at high.

Until then party with a wanderer/maestro and let their rainstorm break the ice every 0.3 sec?

wanderer/maestro kill faster without me. i'll mostly be a warlock soon enough anyways but what i'm really thinking about are those poor normal wizard's. why did they change sg in the first place?

It was a balancing patch. They reverted it. We will get the revision soon. So, don't worry about it.
