Rays build is a good 1 to follow but I do what Hodges does. I max dura/BL then add 1 point to my dmg spells.

As for maxing Fireball. It all depends on ur playing style. Since mystics have AOEs/Heals/Single Target Fireballs usefulness relies solely on how u play that class. I have my fireball at 5 only since I rarely use it in PvP. My style is all about points over kills <_< so I heal & AOE mostly.


I think, no matter what... mystics and forsakers will always cap...

True but most mystics would rather max by attempting to get kills instead of healing & whatnots. I prefer the support role over kills, even tho I tend to get alot of kills still from my AOEs <_<~

I play with the same perspective as zuru, just a different style :(
General statement though is forsakers are the more offensive class of shammies.
Mystics are the more defensive.

Both are great in pvp of course ^^, although in my oppinion forsakers have to be better geared to max. They are much higher up on the total number of kills totem pole though ^^

yup yup Thats why I prefer Mystics lol. Sakers have to do alot of dmg & kills to get their contribution while Mystics just have to support & do a little pewpew here & there to get contri. Sakers are Pure dmg & Mystics are a Dmg/support more towards support. Least thats how I see it. :(~ Lots of people tend to go pure dmg as Mystic which I think is a waste of the classes potential.

First Aid's cooldown has been nerfed to 15 seconds in our server(SEA), Wound Care is now instant cast, Fire Fairy's Protection now boosts Skill Crit Rate by 10%, and they added a bunch of new DNAs. I dont know if this is already applied here in global. But with these changes, is it wise to totally drop First Aid and get Fire Fairy Protection? the new DNA's IMO are not that useful for Mystics atleast. Any thoughts?

Yea I saw those updates. I will be nerfing Burning Hell to lvl5 & First Aid lvl 1 to get Fire Fairy to lvl10.

my build for 79 would look like this

fireball 1
flame arrow 10
burning hell 10
wound care 1
first aid 1
mana amulet 1
dura amulet 10 + 10 dna
burning meteor 10
fire rain 10
hellfire 7 + 4 DNA
healing totem 1
protection totem 4 + 1 DNA
fire protection fairy lvl 10
summon healing fairy 6
bloodlust 10 + 10 dna


wut I'll be having.

lol Yea thats what im doing :(~ Reducing BH down cuz I really only use that in PvE & lvl 5 is just as good as lvl10. BH is only semi useful in PvP if u DNA it to 30m range but I see that as a waste of Points.

They should make a quest that gives u 1 extra DNA point ;.;

oh stopped reading after "Burning" lol Meteor is yummy tho ;.; I use that alot in PvP lol. Dunno I was never a fan of BH from the start so losing it for me is no big whoop.

this is my alt mystic build (PvE) lvl 68

fireball - 3
flamearrow - 7 (DNA 2)
flame wave - 10
wound care - 1
first aids - 10
fire guard - 3
mana amulet - 5
dura amulet - 10 (DNA 10) it gain over 1k hp (good for grind n tank)
fire rain - 6 (DNA 3)
hell fire - 3
healing totem - 7
protection totem - 3 (DNA 3)
summon healing fairly - 1
bloodlust - 6 (DNA 7)


that's all my alt PvE build...
at tbf union (i never play foc n strongest)..if i duets with tempest,i never kill below 20...(it hard when u solo)
after tempest do LR + sleep...fire rain + hell fire + flame wave never fail to kill...just try and love it^^
now, i wanna make new build...so i can max bloodlust...^^

Flame Wave o.0 Never found that to be of any use. Burning Hell is much more effective, has a nice AOE & DoT dmg.

yup..you're right..burning hell is better...but i make my build without knowing anything..(i'm really noob)
and i'm gonna reset skill...a lot gonna change...and i'll make a hybrid build...and fire guard gonna be 10 with bloodlust too...it make deference when go fight another mystic even a saker...my char at lvl 49 got 72% fire resist n never fail to kill at foc 49..lol

im trying to reach a balance between support and dmg... thats why 1 point per totems...and yes BL would be the next DNA Id raise if we would have more points. But so far as i cant max BL and enjoy its full benefits i prefer to economize and get the max i can with the least points possible.

We got too many useful DNAs ;.; I want atleast 30 now!
Im waiting till I see the new setup before I say what mine is gunna be cuz I really dont know yet. Ima probably gunna max out BL & Dura & put 1 point in the totems & dmg DNAs but we will see.

i'm already do that after reskill yesterday...^^
since my lvl still 68..bloodlust max 7 (DNA 7), dura get max with DNA, and yes i put DNA 1 point at protection totem...it boost my def around 1.4k (nice for tank)...1 poin for fire rain...and i'm still got 3 DNA free point..i'm gonna keep it to max BL^^

with the skillcrit buff u can redo some jewels with scad and leave fire ball at one and itll be just as good as it was before maybe better ^^

why not 6 dna in def totem..?would be a huge boost, i think about 6 in def totem, max in dura, rest in bloodlust what u think guys..?

3 is enough and is more than half the total def possible by dna. unless ur gonna tank =o
