Well, there are plenty of skill builds on the internet, as well as in the class forum for thieves. Just look through the forums or search on google. There's no way u wouldn't find anything

hmm, this is out of my department.
The only thing I can suggest for now is that you should avoid using Shadow Assault, it seems to be bugged.
oh, and that maxing shadow armor is a must!

There's a sticky explaining Assassin skills here, but I disagree with a few of them (for example I think 5/5 PW is mandatory): http://forums.warppo...e-to-assassins/
My personal build is pretty standard and revolves around just dealing flat DPS (which is what you're in a party for). Shadow Assault is buggy right now but hopefully it won't always remain that way, and it still works great for PvE, a ranged knockdown is still certainly worth 1 point for utility. I personally dislike Shadow Strike (I don't see much point in it outside of PvP) so I had a few more points to play around with. http://ro2base.com/b...1.1.8/0.0.0.0.0

Yup. But it depends how you wanna play your Sin. Are you more the PvP or the PvE-Type? U can even play him pure single target if you wish to. If you can answer this question, there are a few skills that you shouldn't skill or maximize. If you read carefully through the explanations you'll surely find out which one I mean. Just concentrate on the way you wanna play the class and think for yourself which skills suit you best. If you want I - or the other users here - can give you some tips. You should also try to do a test build on the ro2base site and if you want you can post it here and others can give you advise on that.
And I disagree on the comment that Shadow Strike is PvP. Why? Despite its cooldown it generates 3 combo points. That means you're faster on the Finish Moves -> more Damage (and also faster damage) on mobs. My Sin for instance is doing massive damage out of Stealth when using it. It's totally worth spending points on it but you shouldn't have to max it though if you like to spend more points on Shadow Armor (which is very useful in the end game). In my opinion Shadow Assault is more on the PvP side than Shadow Strike.

People don't like to put a point on Dark illusion, but with it, you gain 1 critical damage always +1 point or even 2 if your combo training worked, + a shadow strike = 5 points to SE a sorc/wiz and take him down in less than 7 seconds.
You can agree or disagree, but those little details make a difference in a 1 vs 1, Colo, WoE.

From hiding I prefer Shadow Strike. The base damage is so much higher that even if you don't crit it will deal more damage. And it usually crits.

And while you're still wasting 1-2 seconds animation, the player already healed the damage, while i make one big combo: Throwing dagger + Dark illussion at the same time.
Who's sicker?

A Non-bugged level 5 critical Shadow Assault from hiding is almost certainly a kill if well timed.... and its VERY easy to time.
Shadow Strike its great also... almost same damage, but in various hit, so it's not difficult to get your hit KS'ed. It's a great option with the actual Shadow Assault bug, though.

KS with Shadow strike??? Can i laugh??
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
@UP: Yeah and after you KS'ed the target with shadow assault you lost a skill to kill the next target for the next 20 seconds, SMART.
If you face a Ranger you're DEAD with your super technique.

You can start by having a better attitude.
After that is settled, you could try being more catious while reading. I said it's easy to be KS'ed, not to KS.

Ok.

It's a great option to use from hiding, not a great option to KS. Selective quoting is great.
Anyways, I'm done here, I really have no interest in discussing with you. You'd do well having a little better attitude, even if I'd said to open with a level 5 Cross Impact or something like that.
Have a nice evening.

Cross impact FTW !!
Have a good one u too.

The first two hits are instantaneous and almost simultaneous. I got used to it starting with the shadow assault bug and find it works well enough to get my first kill each round. I actually quit using dark illusion around level 45 when I realized the low base damage meant it still dealt very little damage compared to other hiding openers. DI is good for colo because it's fast but I don't miss it at all now that I've reset.

I've been weeks thinking on buy another reset stat and leave MoG on lvl 1 and do this:
http://www.ro2base.c...1.1.1/0.0.0.0.0
Assault at lvl 5 should be awesome. KSing with DI, next target KS'ed with SA and keep going. Since i don't do raids at all, even PvP tier2 is better than AoD, so i want another opinion. I'll miss 1.6% crit tho..
*Regardless if DI is or not a greater damage to start hidden, my point is to spend SA wisely on another target like a Ranger. Thinking that you won't success with one kill.

That looks pretty good for a PvP focus except combo training. I hate that one. It's unreliable and even if it does go off you usually needed the extra double attack's damage anyway. It could be better for PvE but I still don't like it there and would rather spend the points on something like shadow strike. It reliably adds damage in all of our combos and scales better with skill points than any other non-combo finisher skills. I only raid with my guild but between that and RHDs nobody has brought up un-maxed MoG that I've seen. Totally viable to drop it. I also approve of taking points out of Deadly Blow for more important things (lol 2% per level).

After making these changes i'll let you know, we should duel to check our difference about Shadow strike, it don't like it but the 3 combo points
