Hello,

 

I have just started this game and trying to get a character which can MVP as well as farm. I need your advice on the next question.

 

Should I create a Knight (RK) to MvP and farm or Ranger? Which of these class will be more effective?

If you are skillful you can kill a range of MvPs with ranger without getting touched; cheapest and easiest way to go. But in a party you are not so useful in damage output (assuming you have no good gears). Easier to solo level too. (But really the only hard thing to gear for rangers now is just their weapon)

RK's if decently geared can kill an even larger range, or if you're with a party noob gears can work too and you'd have a decent damage output.

Go for RK if you're going to choose between RK VS Ranger. Go for Genetic if you want to effortlessly solo kill MVPs.

I'd have loved to play Genetics (they are my fav class) but I doubt its a good idea to choose them as 1st character.
Going to play RK a little then maybe I will make a genetic

if it's a first char, I would rather suggest a ranger. cheapest way to 150. can make zeny on a daily basis.

make rk only if you can cover the cost of pots or if you have a Rudolf or fish
