luk and dex dont affect the forger's upgrade success rates, right? or it does matter?

 

and does having %10  change of upgrading better than hollgrehnm; make much that of a difference?   To me it is the same crap, but I know there are experts out there who know how the analysis/calculations work out and give numbers/statistics of success rates, etc.

Luk/dex and bla bla dont affect refining. Are you talking about refining or forging? Because I think forging does.

10% makes alot of difference. There's reasons when ppl use enrich rather than the other old man. People also normally make a 99/70 MS for eat gear purpose or refining cheap gears for use like the TSOD

With MS you can reach +7 super easily but with hollen something you will have troubles reaching even +6

oh and you should look up irowiki.org if you have questions about refining rates or something. It has lots of info

if you're talking about upgrading weapons using the mastersmith skill, then only job lvl affects it.
