A 3D chat platform I use called IMVU had some hellacious DDoS attacks about two months ago, lasting for about a month. I've also heard of a lot of game servers going down for the same reason this year... When it was predicted that 2013 would be the year of DDoS attacks, they weren't kidding.

Just started. I got fair far into the game back in the PS1 era when it was new, but I think it was a copy borrowed from a friend so I never picked it back up. Pacific Rim inspired me to pick up that and Front Mission 3 on the PSN store. Those games are much more enjoyable when portable.
