why are people talking about FAW like instant cats wasn't easy before? Has anyone here tried magic strings yet?

Nobody said insta cast wasn't possible before. All I'm saying is that now it's possible for the classes who can't wear vellum arc wand to insta cast without strings.

they could before. rwc pendants + spell enchanted weapon +magic strings. and that is still a better way with WoE, because the wings will break woe gear combos.

for something like dragon's breath where you need strings anyway, this garment is not super big news.

Well with strings, yeah, it's trivial to get instacast. 

 

But dragging a stringer around in PVM/MVP is generally a non-starter (except for TIs)...

I got 3x spell 6 on my +9 wings was wondering if I should try for a spell 7 or not tho....

The cast reduction is the same regardless what level of spell enchant, unless you want the matk, doesn't matter.

Got a FAW, +7ed it, got luk +4 and luk +5.  I'm happy with it.

Got spell 7/6/6 after 40m in resets. I was only going for triple 6 ^^

Only just got back to RO after my PC broke down. Do we have any word about if the FAW Valk Enchant NPC is staying forever or being periodical like the Mimic or leaving forever after a certain time?

Eh get one enchant it and sell it fast before people realise how easy it is to do and they go cheap! I sold a +9 3x spell3 for 850 it cost nothing to make either really.

On a side note what else do I need to insta if I have 3x spell3 faw +12 thorn staff/ skull cap kk card and 2x spell4 rwc pendants all spell 3 and dark illusion card mid?

As far as I can tell if we had the event with Enriched Hammer it would be aprox 581m to make a +9 (buying the wings from a player for 200m) using HD ores instead that's going to throw the estimate off alot. Did you come to about this price or a wildly diffrent number out of interest?

Mine was a old pair I had laying about, I had some certs in storage and I used hd I still had from daily queen so I spent nothing

I did something wrong. I used http://drazzy.com/calc/upgrade.shtml and put the fields in as follows:

 

Cert Cost 9,000,000

Enriched Cost 3,000,000 (150m/1k kafra points)

Elu Cost 24,000

Item Cost 200,000,000

 

Which brings it out to 381,189,333 for a +9 and then without thinking I added another 200 mil for buying the item which I didn't need to. Late night adding

 

EDIT: Just incase anyone was intrested in the cost per stage, all estimates ofcourse

 

+7 = 260,389,333

+8 = 293,609,333

+9 = 381,189,333

+10 = 1,169,409,333

HBP = 10% ranged damage + 30 atk + 50 matk
