I know it's not entirely a conclusive test, but I just killed 350 peach tree's with only 6 DB's dropping. I got 5 elder branches, 2 OBB's, 3 Banana Juice, and 42 Royal Jellies....But only 6 DB's? That's a grand total of 1.7% drop rate on the DB's.

 

Now, I could've had one serious streak of bad luck drops...but...really?

 

 

 

Has anyone else had an issue hunting them there?

 

Also, could you CM's check and see if the rate was accidentally lowered at some point?

1.7 sounds about right. db is not supposed to be a common item. the only reason theres so many on the server is because of the bots running 24/7 on the payon elder willow map

1.7 isn't right though. The database lists it at 4%.

Actually I would like to know if almost all drops rates didnt drop?

I was trying to get D.Ring and all my 4 hours it was wasted

or im just unlucky

or both

You really should expect to farm for a long time with item drops like D.Rings, 5 hours is nothing.

If you think in 8 hours your luck is bad after not finding one then I'd get ready for a reality check lol.

ive been killing lost dragons like 8~10 yesterday but no mvp drops at all (oca or even opb)... and im on vip

In fact Ive got just one after use 4 HE bubble and yeah im also vip and still have more some months till expire

 

So Im trying without bubbles, im still lazy to farm that but i will try more some hours

of course the drop rates have been lowered. if you dont think that they silently nerf the drop rate to curb the economy then you are a fool. the base exp rate and drop rate have been getting silently tweaked since as far back as the turtle island patch. ive read reports from botters on other iRO forums about the statistics on drops and the numbers speak for themselves. they clearly show that during certain times (mostly on weekends) the drop rate is severely lowered. some people argue that its because of how many people are on any given map that changes the success rate. more people = less drops. but i dunno if i buy that. if we really do share a loot table with other people on the same map, then thats pretty -_- too
