It's been an awesome time trying to pick up coins every half an hour. It's been more fun killing you. But nothing lasts forever.

next time an event like this goes out better disable greeding >_> poor guys got no coins from putting effort picking 1 coin at a time 

 

oh.. yeah, 1 other nice thing is the free kafra points on this years month of may   hope we can get free kafra points again

The map was full of automated characters managed by various players. Alot of them were there every hour of every day, so they managed to get alot of poring coins. The coins they collected were most probably used for the 25 coin and/or 50 coin reward depending on the player. Right before maintenance, you could see a few of those automated characters trade their rewards to one or several of their merchants near the Poring Coin Exchange machine.

Next time, use a Geneticist or Monk/Champion/Sura with a Heroic Backpack. If you don't have that, use a Blacksmith/Mastersmith/Mechanic. If you don't have that, make one in an hour/few hours and get the Greed skill.

greed makes everything about coin-picking unfair  THAT'S THE TRUTH!

I'd rather he'd be left in-game as is so he could be the Creamy for the new generation of RO players. Tell them to kill King Poring, they kill him, and think they could take on any MVP in the game.

Then watch the tears fall.

Greed doesn't even come close to how many coins the botters were picking up. I didn't greed 24/7 while this event went, real people sleep. But all people can focus on is the greed qqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqqq.

Actually, I just had an alt there and only moved when coins started to rain lol afterwards, I turn to a statue and then wait :L

Therefore, you should blame yourself for not being able to meet King Poring face-to-face instead of blaming other people poking him to death. Now you will never see him

i met im once face to face on a luck ...and luckaly for my lv 20 newb ass ppl jumped him cuz i woundnt last long alone ...what the lv to fight him n-e way ?

yup, we definitely have to thank all those (super) high-leveled players for doing the dirty work for us. basically if you weren't level 99, you couldn't stand a chance against king poring alone.

Actually, I guess you could. It takes some time, though. I ran into him once with a 30-40ish Ninja and tried to kill him. About 5 minutes later, I still tried. It wasn't really hard to survive, even without any agi he hardly hit me - and if he did, caused only few pain. Then some higher levels found me and "helped" killing him - I guess it would have taken me at least another 5-10 minutes to take him down all on my own, with that attack horrible speed.

 

I would had loved the idea of making him more MVPish, though. Maybe once or twice a day, so people wouldn't HAVE to kill a hard monster on what's basically a chill out map every 30 minutes.

what about the coins?

I was thinking something like every 30 minutes the King Poring we had, with coins and stuff, and then once or twice a day an additional buffed up version. But we'll never know if that would have worked
