how to hit Angra Mantis with AS Ranger?

Get enough hit.  Hit angra mantis? Use a phen card?

 

I had my ranger put down a trap and then arrow storm the angra mantis.  I didn't have a phen card at the time.

My memory's abit hazy, but does ankle snare reduce target's flee to 0?

A sage can use Fiber Lock which reduces flee by 50%.

 

Ankle snare just holds him in place for a bit.  He has a ton of agi/dex allowing him to have a shorter snare duration.

 

I used ankle snare because he attacks so damn fast.

 

Unless you have very low dex or a lot lower level than 15+ levels from angra mantis level, I would think concentration + true sight/falcon eyes? would put your ranger in okay range for hitting monsters.

I'll get my ranger stats.  I did not miss arrow storms.  At least I think I didn't.

Ah. I see now. 

 

Hit Rating = Dex + Luk/3

 

My build wasn't mainly around arrow storm.  The low int will hurt a lot.

Sometimes, Angra Mantis will cast kyrie eleison to itself, making your attack miss.

if you want to reduce the flee with some trap, flash trap do that job, but i think its easier the falcon eyes thing
