I do not propose Ant Hell should be instanced, rather was just complaining about how some players grief my alchemist character in game for leveling my homunculus there. Apparently, several people didn't read the entire post before jumping in, including whoever moderated the topic title.

I just heard from the underground that a new NPC will be placed outside of Ant Hell that lets players enter their very own instance of the dungeon! No more complaints about those pesky homunculi killing YOUR eggs!
I'm very glad about this change. I was getting so sick of walking around and seeing those stupid guys with carts and their stupid pets killing MY eggs! As a player with a free account, I am entitled to claim whichever monsters I want as my own to kill. How dare someone else attack them? Won't those stupid afk players play the game like real men and stop telling their pets to kill my monsters? It's not like they get any benefit from it over other areas, and Ant Hell is where I NEED to level my character! There's literally NOWHERE else I can kill stuff. And what's worse, these "Dead Branch" items can't even be used there to kill those stupid afk players. Well, at least I can send them angry messages, threatening them, calling them names, and reporting them. I'm contributing to the cause, and finally my prayers have been answered: I can have my very own Ant Hell, and kill helpless eggs all day long to my heart's content.

...okay, seriously though...
It's always been like this hasn't it? Such that is the life of a Geneticist, no? I just recently job changed and I'm leveling a new Amistr, and I never noticed it as much on my last homu. On bad days, I even start griefing the particularly "nerd-ragey" players, but it's usually more satisfying to just ignore them. Yesterday, I actually noticed one of them brought their GX and used Rolling Cutter every few seconds on the egg pile I was parked at for over an hour. I just smiled, alt tabbed, and resumed watching a movie with my girlfriend. At least it's entertaining sometimes. As I'm guessing any experienced player will tell you, Ant Hell is the ONLY viable leveling spot for the broken homunculi system until you can handle OD or harder places.
What makes people feel like they are "entitled" to certain maps/mobs? You're playing a FREE MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER RPG. If you don't like the way it is, play a different game, play on a private server, or just learn how to play MMO's. Kill Stealing is one thing - but let's just say I was happy to discover DBing was disabled in Ant Hell (as I assume it is in OD2 as well).
