Please seed the file as a torrent or use a site to share the file like download.com or rapidfire etc sites.  That would ease the load of downloading the file.  That should solve the problem with too many people downloading the file.

i couldnt even use getright to download the file because the official link requires login to download and is only downloadable directly through the browser. absolutely retarded

I really have NO IDEA why you don't want to download the manual patch from the main page. I did it yesterday and it literally took me a few seconds.

Sure, when you log in while downloading, it will start downloading full game instead, but with a little bit of common sense you will know you need to close it and try again.

i think the point is that not everyone has stable high speed internet, so its basically still risking the chance of interruption by downloading off the mainsite since it forces you to download through the browser and the server is extremely slow that its being hosted on. took me 15 trys to finally get it to finish

Good news! Unfortunately we are still working on getting a forever fix to the stability issues, however we think we found a solution where the server will detect it has kicked everyone and will automatically restart it self. This is so that there shouldn't be any long term outages again. Unfortunately this did not work we are manually restarting the character server.

Stable speed internet? Really? How do you even play the game then? Heck, how did you DOWNLOADED the game which is WAY more than 100 mb patch?

The server is not slow. Like I said, it took me a few seconds to get the whole file. And if you don't want to download it through browser directly, there are special downloaders.

Im sure if you asked nice enough someone would be willing to mirror the patch for you.  or just download the patches manually through the patch server.

I've been able to be logged in most of the time so far (just got disconnected half an hour ago).

 

Last night I was stuck in Prontera for a while (couldn't move or quit the game) so just sat there until the game felt like finally kicking me off xP. Talking in the raidcall group while waiting to get kicked off was entertaining though
