Hello there guys!

 

We'd like to get some seasonal loading screens for this year's Halloween, if you have (preferrably) new or art from years before please post them here so we can get about 16 arts up. We'd like to get these ready by October 15th, thank you for your help!

Oh? We didn't have a Halloween thread last year! I'm glad it's back! xD

 

I drew and submitted this 2 years ago as a regular loading screenshot, but it didn't get selected...

I've modified it to a Halloween theme, I hope it got in this year! >_<

Anyway I tried my own, and honestly after looking at everybody else's, I think mine is more for horror   Hopefully it's not too horrific.

Did everything other than the text by hand (pencil, colored pencil, charcoal). It was nice to get away from using too much digital tools.

Oh gosh that's definitely pretty scary x-x but I love your style Gio! Good job doing most of it by hand xP

And haha the ones you have now have their own charm though. I particularly like #2 and 3, probably leaning a bit more on #3 just because I was really gonna do lord of the dead first until I saw yours zz, and overall I just like how playful it is plus the niff background.

Augh, I gotta learn how to make icons for the patcher like the ones you made, mine seem pretty crummy in comparison to the originals!

Well, since I went through all the trouble of making one, so I might as well put my two cents in. I can't draw as well as most of the artists here, but I think this is pretty good.

Yea that's cute. I was thinking of making a cute one too including Quve, Lude and Heirozoist trick or treating in Niff, with Lude's pumpkin as the basket xD But I don't have time now

Anyway I think you draw fine. Different drawing styles have different charms, and drawing skill isn't the only factor that makes a piece good. Concept is pretty important, and I think yours has a good and charming one (like every other one here too!).

aw haha, you do fine! if you really want, you can try to match the colors i used for the rest of the patcher (they all ought to be in photoshop's default swatches somewhere...)
