what are your computer specs? like RAM and Processor?
if your computer is powerful enough to run the game then you could have a faulty installation.
follow this link and read the part about "how to ensure a proper game download" and checking the MD5 hash number of the installation file.

This will ensure the client you downloaded is not corrupted and if it is you will need to re-download the game.
