How do you earn KVM/Etc.. points?

you can trade Eden Merit badges for KVM badges

Renewal I assume (must be since classic doesnt have kvm :v). At one point when they were trying to prevent bot abusing in BGs a couple years ago caused BG to become really really buggy. Not sure if these "fixes" are still in place but ontop of that BG has a 5 minute cooldown that due to the DST bug presently is actually 1 hour and 5 minutes. If they removed the stupid cooldown all together it coooould actually become a playable thing again bugs aside.

 

As for getting KVM medals there is trading EMBs for KVM badges or doing seal quests. http://irowiki.org/w...God_Items_Quest. Seal 2, 3 and 4 give 40 KVM badges and Seal 1 gives 80.

That's a damn shame, entire aspect of the game ruined.

Every time I want to spend money on this game a reason is presented that tells me not to. :/

yup way better ways as mentioned above

 

Trade OPB(worthwile) for EMB

Buy Lucky boxes with KVM medals in em(usually atleast 1k medals when they are in)

Seal 1 quest reset and keep doing 80 medals per reset or full thing for 200 medals

Do Tis and save up EMB 4 per char

pretty much. its pretty lame that such a dope feature is useless. especially when there is so little endgame as is. one of the major reasons people dont do them is because of how little the reward is for so much work as well as all the wait time in between matches

I'd say it's mostly unused due to:

1. Wait time
2. Forced to idle, until the game starts
3. Headache from people bugging the matches

Back when it was new, people tolerated those flaws because the rewards were so good. Now, the rewards are basically negligible, and the only reason people would do it is for the experience. But not when the experience is like it is now :/


When (and if) we ever get kRO's queuing system for BGs, it'll probably start to become pretty active. If I could queue up from any map, and it'll just teleport me in when the match is ready, then I'd queue up basically 100% of the time I'm logged in for some 5v5, 7v7 or 10v10 pvp all day.

That system that you're talking about is implemented quite well, I just hope that iRO gets it sometime in the next century
