I see theres been topics over the years about this quest, but nothing in the last 12 months.
I've repeatedly tried to do this on my cleric, Gorthein gives me the medicine, Shannon takes the medicine, Gorthein refuses to acknowledge and I have to abandon the quest.

Not sure about the quest, since I don't quest much, but I can take a look at it sometime.
As a side note, can you post your pictures on another site, like ( imgur )?
Your pictures are small and hard to read, and I can't zoom them.
