HI,

I just created a new character. When i enrolled in the academy, the receptionist there gave me a quest to join Eden group.

When i entered Eden through the Eden teleporter in Izlude, i got disconnected. Since then whenever i try to log into my newly created character it disconnects. I am able to log in fine into my other character.

Please help.

If it's still happening now (ie, it's not some transient issue that fixed itself), yes, you need to send in a ticket to get it fixed.
