Just noticed that AOD Cres armor being light armor gives the same value of defense as heavy armor.

Being hard to die is the one good thing about being melee Cres now. They have relatively high base def, high base parry and high base Hp just to hold out before the DoTs can start ticking. Fix that and you will have a class that don't have time to cast anything nor having much cc skills. 

 

Before anything they should bother fixing Cres stats first.

I have no issue with my Cres and can keep DPS up aswell.

I didn't say Cres is weak. But they are not strong either. Just barely fit to the place.

I'm saying this from PoV of my full AOD H Cres.

DPS isn't the only way to build for Cres. Mine is just party support. And I can tank enough with the current gears, even the entire party wiped during raid, I still can solo endure and take the final kill with a healer.

If anything to be remove, then it would rip out that position.

Thats great and all but if you build your cres as a DPS its top tier. Point is why should this DPS class have better armor than two other tank classes? 

 

They should not be taking such extreme damage in the first place nor should they be tanking bosses.

I don't get the part why need to narrow down one class into one role while it can has multiple and wide use. It is because of that kind of armors. 

Else I would just rather playing Fantasy Frontier for having over 200+ class excluding builds and strategies for each.

Cres don't have one role and you can build them up in various ways. This has nothing to do with their armor value and in the first place if you're a party support you shouldn't be tanking in the first place.

then go nerf sorc first. if you're a dps you shouldn't be healing in the first place.

Sorcs are fully able to support with a various array of skills. Please show me all these cres skills that allow them to tank?

Being tanky and being a tank is two different thing.
