Please let us know what bugs you have discovered as a result of 11/14's patch. Also be sure to write if it is a new bug, or an ongoing one from before. 

 

 

Current Bugs- Already reported:

 

-Currently, defense is not working properly. Certain reduction skills have been affected by it. 

-Party finder is bugged. Pressing "n" to summon it does will not work if you change map or channel. Resetting keys and then logging in and out seem to reset it and make it work again but at the moment the button (and in turn partyfinder) is bugged.

- high FPS issues and lag. One way to see how prominent the lag is, is by moving your cursor over the skills bar (the loading of the descriptions take longer than usual)

-Pandora Boxes are currently not being dropped from monsters. Was this intended or a bug?

-Level 50’s are not getting guild experience when killing monsters (lvl 47+)

-The quest "Duel with Lance" is currently bugged. Users are reporting the npc they need for the quest is not appearing.

-Character eye colors are now a dull white

-A large majority of players cannot exit the game normally

-The description for victory medals is still incorrect. The description says the user gets a total of 7 victory medals but the user will only get one.

-Text wrapping strangely

-Quests not dropping the items evenly among raid members. 

 

 

Other:

 

-Devil Costume Set effect not being applied to older Devil Costumes- Not a bug, but we will be communicating with the devs in regards to these stats. 

-PhysX errors

Ohh so this is a known problem? How do you know what the player's original eye colors were now that they all changed to grey/white? Having to change them back manually would be a REAL pain for you guys.

CAN NOT FIGHT MONSTERS BECAUSE THE GAME FREEZES And turn up DEAD. EACH PATCH INSTEAD OF SOMETHING GOOD FOR THE GAME JUST BRING NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS AND NO patched NOTHING BETTER AND LEAVE THE GAME QUIET UNTIL SOME TIME FOR EVERYTHING STABILIZE WRONG AND THAT BY THE WAY IS QUITE AS ADDING MORE THINGS TO FOLLOW ON WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE THE FINAL COLLAPSE ALL ERRORS.

It's graphical lag, not connection.  Tracert won't do anything for you.

Heads up: Party finder no longer works. As in no matter what key you assign it to, you can't even open the thing.

 

You can temporarily get around this by going to the character select screen.

But the problem is not the speed of the Internet the problem is just the same game, come and try to fight with any mob and you will see as freezes the game that's not internet lag

Well, I can't even patch, goes till 90% and fails ALWAYS.

Tried like 9 times and gave up

Then tried manual patching and got past launcher

Suddenly Nvidia error saying that I need to download a PhysX update, so I do and restart the PC

Try again and it STILLS asks me to install it

I don't know, never had a problem with my card or drivers, and less towards RO2, so I assume this is a patching thing.

I reverted the manual patch just in case that's the problem, but the thing still won't go past 90%

T1 Soul Handle + T1 Sould Doll = 861000 blood points (should be 588000 or 623000 like knights and rangers).
other classes T1 weapon = 588000 blood points.

T2 Soul Handle + T2 Sould Doll = 1230000 blood points + 140 VMs.
other classes T2 weapon = 840000 blood points + 90 VMs.

the prices are unfair.

 

I have lag and low FPS too >.<

Along with the eyes....My job level went down instead of up, I can't resurrect, and I am lagging so bad when I have never lagged before ever.

Please send us tracearts. Regardless of it is a connection, game, or server issue, tracearts are very useful in diagnosing the problem.

The Main Quest called Duel with Lance has a bug:

 

After accepting the quest from Guard Commander Lance a mob should spawn (you kill it and talk to Fallen Guard John to complete the quest).

 

The bug: The mob is not spawning leaving the quest incomplete.

 

 

I've tried re-logging, changing channels, abandoning and restarting. Nothing works. This is very frustrating because i can't do any-other quest without completing this one. Fix this asap please.

 

 

Edit: I am now aware that I'm not the only one experiencing this bug. I've found 4 other people who report this same bug while standing next to the npc.

If you look at the pricing on the priest mace (who happens to be directly in front) it is the only class that has one weapon that is priced at 560000 + 60 VMs.

Visual bug: Guardian is having visual problems, when you summon it, it appears normal, but when you move, the graphics stays in place and only the ball of light moves

Zanbee, do this to see the lag

 

1. log in, then press autorun to walk forward

2. Hover over any of your class skills (not items)

3. you will see that giant client lag spike

 

 

4. (BONUS) KEEP MOVING  YOUR MOUSE ON TOP OF UR SKILLS

5. Your client will be completely frozen, not related to internet

 

 

also, try this

 

1. press autorun to walk forward

2. type "/g" or "/1" or "/2" to change chat type

3. you will see that giant client lag spike

 

 

there are other things you can do on the client to reproduce this lag spike, but I dunno them all, but it's there

I honestly think the game lag has something to do with the visible character limit option that was added months ago. There was lag before hand but only in highly congested areas (which is only really channel 1 Alberta). But ever since it was implemented the game has had massive framerate issues and lock ups out of nowhere, even when the option is off.

 

Would there be any possible way to have the devs just outright remove it to see if the issue fixes itself? For just a few days or a week?

Oh I don't mean in this way, but I do appreciate the effort. 

 

There are a number of reasons why there may be lag and FPS issues in game. We will bring this to the dev's attention (again).
