Hey all,

I've recently started playing quite a bit again (liking the new updates to the game). I'm primarilly a linux user for programming etc etc, it would be nice if I didn't have to boot into windows to play. Has any one had any success running the game under linux and what tools did you guys use?

you can always VM the windows box with XP and it may actually run a bit better if you have a newer laptop.

Thanks, didn't even check the technical support forum as generally speaking there aren't many gamers in the linux world.

I did think of vming a win xp machine and giving it a shot, my pc is relatively new but was unsure on how it would handle being ran in a vm. I'll try installing through wine, although i've never had much luck with gaming through wine.
