The 1823 poem by Clement C. Moore "A Visit from St. Nicholas" (also known as "The Night Before Christmas" or "'Twas the Night Before Christmas") is largely credited for the contemporary Christmas lore that includes the eight flying reindeer and their names.[4]
Eh.....eight....

There's actually a big debate if the right name for the reindeer is donner or donder....!

when, what to to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny rein-deer,
with a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and call'd them by name:
"Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now, Prancer, and Vixen!
"On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donder and Blitzen!
"To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
"Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"
As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;
So up to the house-top the coursers they flew,

It's what I grew up with, and also when I researched it, I went by origin of the poem, as quoted in the wiki. That's all. Not sure how the quest info wasn't the same.
What caught my attention was that Donder is the only mount in the wrong color. Out of all reindeers, the only grey reindeer is prancer. Donders real appearance is in a brownish shade!
What I noticed recently is that the newer quests (such as the halloween quest for the frozen corpse), and this current reindeer quest, encourages people to explore certain maps on areas where they haven't been at before. I don't know about you guys, but I've never been at the "sleight" before~

Such a nice view~
And then... the fact that I managed to trade a few vixens to Rudolph, cupid and donder, is awesome. Not having the mounts accountbound was a great idea~
^_^ Collecting is addicting.
That is one of the things I attempt to do when I write quests, this one and the pig cart one earlier in the year was ideas I pitched
Yush!! I like this quest soooo much <3
Full of surprise! Can't stop myself to do it with all my characters ^o^
It's a super wonderful quest!
Hope more and more Event quest like this in future (like coming Chinese New Year may be hehe)
Thx for ur hard work Alan!
