So I've been told that the new Ymir's Child Transformation doesn't stack with Shadow form, which makes it's only benefit the +15% acceleration.  Also, it would seem that that's our only new skill from AV, unless unlocking it makes more skills show up, which I haven't done since it seems pointless:

 

 

I mean, I really want to become batman.  But it doesn't seem worth it, especially if I have to reskill or waste precious and tons of expensive Master Points on it.

On the bright side you have 3 points you could put on other skills that otherwise you would've used in the transformation!!

 

Seriously tho, it really doesn't stack? It should shouldn't it? does it break your <Shadow Form>? Doesn't that would mean that while in <Ymir's Child> you can't use <Shadow Assault>, <Shadow Explosion> and <Shadow Strike>??? That would make it even more pointless...

Frankly that's just what I've been told, that it doesn't stack.  You'll have to see for yourself or ask others I guess.  Unless I was being trolled, it doesn't stack.

  Really? As you can see in above image, Ymir Child buff does not deactivate your Shadow Form.. Credits to DcenCy.

well, ok, it doesn't deactivate <Shadow Form>, does the 30% ATK/Walk Speed of both skills stack?

So talked to my friend again, apparently he was actually talking about a hypothetical scenario.  He noticed extra movement speed stacking with shadow form  when using the transformation, which he has now apparently.  He notices no more attack power, however I believe that that is actually the same for all transformations atm, and has nothing to do with stacking with shadow form.  So yeah, my mistake, how embarassing.

 

I still stand by the fact that I'm disapointed in no extra skills aside from that, even though our old skills were made so OP. XD

For all classes yes, that's what I've heard.  My sin friend said this was the case for his sin, and I believe I've heard it from other classes as well.  It will hopefully be fixed in this next patch, elsewise it's just useful for transportation and, atm, invincibility during transformation.

Not that that's even needed for the pathetic state that PvE is in right now for this game... dunno about PvP, I haven't dared set foot in colo since the patch.  I'm only assuming dying in colo doesn't make you lose MP since no-one's been complaining about it on the forums.

Haha yh... I'm at about 13k myself.  I don't understand how some people have already gotten the nearly 200k needed to get to lvl 20, but then again I get easily distracted from my farming. XD

I'm looking at the thread by MorbidCoffee about how she got to lvl 20 as a knight (http://forums.warppo...-sleep-till-70/), and it's just spamming Grand Cross and getting in and out of Sandarman once every 2 minutes.  I mean dang, us sins are OP and all but I take 6 mins.  Granted I pick up items as well, so I can get more Master Battle Manual Orders and all that, but even without it I can't match the DPS of a Knight? @_@

 

Gah maybe I should temporarily max an AoE attack aside from Grimtooth for now...

While the knight thing is crazy for a knight, I do take only 2 minutes with my Assassin, though I do have a build exclusively for farming with giant mobs (Fang, Grim and buffs, mainly).

 

Sadly, I'm very lazy with this stuff, so I only have a little over 10k exp, while being lvl 3.

True... but I've decided even if it takes 3x longer, I'd rather grind by picking up all the items as well, which I'm pretty sure makes 3 minutes into 6 minutes.  Good to stock up on letters and those Master Battle Manual Orders/Explorer Potions/Infinium.  Particularly the Infinium while it's available without purchasing it with KP...

I maxed grimtooth and shadow fang and mob it all up with that. I just run circles around like a maniac to avoid dying.

lol, I can take on 17 mobs at a time safely with just a level 1 grimtooth, it's far too OP as it is.  I've taken on 34 at a time before while standing still, but that requires shadow armor and a few Explorer Red potions as well, and just isn't really worth it.

well, I've only tried with the Rogue, but was able to handle the 34 mobs and end up with 1k hp in the most dangerous moment... most of the time was a mess up on my part xP

 

but managed to end up with 2/3 hp at times too, wohoo~

 

anyway, yea, mobbing and no looting is barely 2 mins. Not like I did that much because I want to stock explorers in many of my alts :/

Yeah.  Though after the most recent patch potions are far too OP, though I assume you did that on your rogue before the patch when Ganster Paradise was broken, props to you.

no, well, Im stacking on explorer potions which are now like an apple jelly from "Tales of" series, healing you a 30% of your current HP and all...

right now pots are broken, and Im not expecting them to stay like that...

I've yet to use a Potion with my Assassin since they released Morroc... that's pretty crazy, specially when you consider Assassins used a lot of potions before (ok, less than rogues, but still a lot)

Well healing 18k per grimtooth plus a healing pet kinda makes pots useless. With maxed shadow armor you can take on about 25 Lvl 60 mobs with ease. 30 or so it gets more difficult . Also with a 5 percent shell rune in chaos gear makes u nearly un-kill able. I was taking 25 per hit when both are activated

some good info, but still, doesnt hurt to farm those things :/

 

(after all, as it is, it might not be rare if the heal from grimtooth gets nerfed or removed)
