Contemplating the weather as I prepare to fly home to visit family;3 dont know if anyone else was affected by the ice storm in eastern canada and maybe some of the states~ there have been power outages galore!

That Ice storm was sooo bad. Pretty good experience though, I finally saw people actually skating in the streets. Friggin Canada.

Though a lot of people I knew where sitting around without power/internet (Me included x_X)

Just an IT manager, but I don't have anyone looking over my shoulder, and the helpdesk is pretty quiet this time of year (I work for a school).

True...

There are times people climb up the ladder by working hard throughout their lives.
Some people get in by their credentials from their studies; others, with politics.

But in the end IMO; I personally believe it is a combination of all of the above. You gotta have credentials, you gotta be a hard worker, and you gotta have connections.

And in the end... In most cases you gotta be an _ _ _ kisser, or like most of my acquaintances like to refer it as; its all about who you know and who you blow.

Instant coffee is bad for you. Too many preservatives. Duncan Donuts coffee is best.
