I tried talking to him and then back to the geffen crusader and salt... its not working at all followed all the steps and nothing.. been waiting for the fix and still cant do it on 1 particular chara.

I tried this quest before with the same chara and failed....

 

Any suggestions for the dumb?

You might have to backtrack further in the quest. I believe it bugged on the Alberta step for me.
